The XM3L series residual current operated circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as residual current circuit breaker) is suitable for use in power supply systems with AC 50/60Hz, rated working voltage up to 400V, and rated working current of 16A to 630A, where the neutral point is directly grounded. It is used for residual current protection and can also be used to prevent fire hazards caused by grounding fault currents due to equipment insulation damage. And it can be used to distribute electrical energy and protect lines and power equipment from damage caused by overload, short circuit and other faults. It can also be used for infrequent starting and overload/short circuit protection of electric motors.
This residual current circuit breaker has the characteristics of small size (equivalent to the corresponding molded case circuit breaker), high breaking height, short arcing, and adjustable residual operating current. It can also be equipped with accessories such as alarm contacts, shunt release devices, and auxiliary contacts, making it an ideal product for users.
The residual current circuit breaker can be installed vertically or horizontally.

Structure and Working Principle
This series of residual current circuit breakers is an electronic residual current circuit breaker, mainly composed of zero sequence transformers, electronically controlled residual current release devices, and circuit breakers with overload and short-circuit protection. All components are installed in a pair of plastic housings.
When there is leakage or personal electric shock in the protected circuit, as long as the residual current reaches the set action current value, the output signal of the secondary winding of the zero sequence transformer triggers the thyristor to conduct, and the leakage circuit breaker is activated through the leakage release device, thereby cutting off the power supply and providing leakage and electric shock protection.
When the protected circuit experiences overload or short circuit, the compound release completes delayed or instantaneous tripping action, causing the residual current circuit breaker to operate, thereby cutting off the power supply and providing overload or short circuit protection.
